  1. The Vessel | 20 Hudson Yards, New York, NY 10001

The 60-ton sculpture, located at one of New York's trendiest cultural destinations, Hudson Yards, resembles a honeycomb to many. Others call it what it is, a larger-than-life art installation designed by British architect Thomas Heatherwick is New York's version of the Eiffel Tower. Either way, it is an attraction worth visiting. The surrounding area offers various outlook points that offer sweeping views of the Hudson River that will appear mighty dreamy at sunset.

  1. Free Wednesdays at The Bronx Zoo | 2300 Southern Blvd, Bronx, NY 10460

Every Wednesday, the Bronz Zoo has FREE admission on Wednesdays. This is new for 2022 and extremely popular. Free admission Wednesdays must be reserved in advance on Monday.

The Bronx Zoo has more than 7,000 animals in a 265-acre park at The Bronx Zoo. It's the largest city zoo in the country. It offers close encounters with animals with a chance to see them bathing, feeding, and going about their business in exciting exhibits like the Monkey House and the World of Darkness.   1. Walk The High Line | 456 High Line, New York, NY 10011

The High Line is a unique FREE walking park above the redesigned Hudson Yards and the beautiful Chelsea area of Manhattan. The park is built on a 1.45-mile stretch of an abandoned elevated section of a train track open to the public. They host events ranging from free star gazing nights to sculpture and art exhibitions on select evenings. It's a unique way to immerse yourself in one of NYC's most exciting neighborhoods.

  1. Explore Manhattan's Art Galleries

Take advantage of FREE gallery nights in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The Lower East Side is home to some of the best galleries in the city: intimate, innovative spaces that are generally not as pricey or crowded as those in Chelsea and feature artists who are a little bit edgier. one of New York's most beloved neighborhoods and the  Most LES galleries are located east of Broadway, and more specifically between Houston and Grand Streets and the third Thursday of each month, the art galleries in open their doors from 5pm - 8pm.   1. Take a selfie at Strawberry Fields, Central Park | W 72nd St, New York, NY 10019

Located between 71st & 74th streets near Central Park West. Since its opening in 1985, Strawberry Fields has become a prime destination and gathering spot for the many fans of John Lennon. The 5-acre area provides a focal point and gathering space for the many visitors who pay homage to the former Beatle who lived a short walk away.   1. First Saturdays at The Brooklyn Museum | 

The Brooklyn Museum is the third largest museum in NYC. Located in Central Brooklyn, it's an easy subway ride to Manhattan. The museum holds impressive collections of Egyptian and African artifacts and contemporary rotating art exhibits. You do need to register in advance for First Saturdays.
